Delay Protection Waiver
For an additional fee of £100, you can add our Delay Protection Waiver to your booking.
Normally, if a significant delay occurs on moving day, a waiting time surcharge would apply. With this waiver in place, you are protected from such charges.
If we are unable to begin unloading your belongings because access to your new property is delayed, waiting time charges would usually apply. These are usually calculated from 4:00 pm.
Common causes of delay include:
- The previous removal company running behind schedule
- Late property completion or transfer of funds
- Occupants still moving out of your new home
- Missing or lost keys
- Awaiting authorisation to access the property
Please note: The Delay Waiver does not cover situations where we are required to redeliver your goods on another day due to access not being granted on your move date.
The Delay Waiver must be requested at the time of booking.
